Overview
Singapore is the easiest introduction to Asia you could ask for: clean, safe, green and very well connected, with English spoken everywhere and food that alone is worth the trip. This five-day holiday covers the essentials and leaves you time to explore at your own pace.
Your city tour gives you the shape of the place, from the colonial civic district and the Merlion on the waterfront to the temples, shophouses and hawker stalls of Chinatown. Another day is set aside for Gardens by the Bay, where the giant Supertree Grove lights up each evening, and the Marina Bay Sands area around it, with the waterfront promenade and the evening light-and-water show on the bay.
Your free day
Day four is yours. Many visitors head to Sentosa Island for Universal Studios Singapore, which we can book as an optional extra; others prefer Little India, Kampong Glam, the zoo or a long lunch at a hawker centre.

Day by day
- Day 1
Arrival in Singapore
Land at Changi Airport, one of the world's most efficient, and meet your driver for the transfer to your hotel, usually about half an hour. Check in and rest. In the evening, take a short taxi or MRT ride to Marina Bay to walk the waterfront promenade and catch the free light-and-water show in front of Marina Bay Sands. Overnight in Singapore.
- Day 2
Singapore city tour and Chinatown
After breakfast, join the city tour through the colonial civic district, past the Padang, Parliament House and the Fullerton Hotel, to the Merlion statue on the bay. Continue to Chinatown to see its restored shophouses, the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and the Sri Mariamman Temple, the city's oldest Hindu temple. Stay on for lunch at a hawker centre, then spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Singapore.

Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands
Spend the day around Marina Bay. Visit Gardens by the Bay, walking among the towering Supertrees and, if included in your booking, the cooled Flower Dome and Cloud Forest conservatories with their indoor waterfall. Explore the shops and waterfront around Marina Bay Sands in the afternoon. Return to the Supertree Grove after dark for the Garden Rhapsody light and music show. Overnight in Singapore.

Free day or Universal Studios (optional)
A free day to explore at your own pace. The most popular choice is Sentosa Island and Universal Studios Singapore, which we can book as an optional extra with transfers. Alternatively, explore the colourful lanes of Little India and Kampong Glam, ride the cable car, visit the zoo or simply shop on Orchard Road. Singapore's MRT trains make getting around easy and affordable. Overnight in Singapore.
- Day 5
Departure
Enjoy breakfast and any last-minute shopping, depending on your flight time. Check out at the hotel's usual time and leave your bags at reception if needed. Your driver collects you for the transfer to Changi Airport. Allow time to explore the airport itself, including the indoor waterfall at Jewel, before your flight home. Safe travels.

Good to know
- Every traveller must complete the free SG Arrival Card online within the three days before arrival. Kenyan passport holders can currently visit for short stays without a visa, but we confirm the rules when you book.
- Carry your yellow fever certificate. Singapore checks it for travellers arriving from countries such as Kenya.
- Singapore has strict laws on littering, chewing gum and smoking in public places. Fines are enforced.
- Expect hot, humid weather and short tropical downpours all year. Pack light clothes, an umbrella and a layer for air-conditioning.
Questions about this trip
Do Kenyans need a visa for Singapore?
Kenyan ordinary passport holders can currently visit Singapore for short tourist stays without a visa, but every traveller must submit the free SG Arrival Card online in the three days before arrival. Entry rules can change, so we confirm the requirements for every passport in your group when you book and remind you about the arrival card before you fly.
Are flights included?
No. This is a land package, so you can choose the airline and routing that suits you best from Nairobi or Mombasa. There are no direct flights from Kenya to Singapore, so most routings connect in the Gulf, Addis Ababa or another hub. We'll quote the best options for your dates alongside the package.
Is Universal Studios included?
Universal Studios Singapore is an optional extra rather than part of the standard package, because not everyone wants a full theme-park day. If you'd like to go, we can add park tickets and transfers to Sentosa for your free day. Book ahead in school holidays, when the park is at its busiest.
Is Singapore suitable for families?
Very much so. It's safe, clean and easy to get around, with excellent public transport, plenty of air-conditioned attractions and food to suit children. Family favourites include Gardens by the Bay, the zoo, Sentosa and Universal Studios. Tell us your children's ages so we can arrange suitable rooms.
